An elderly librarian from the small Dutch town of Hoofddorp finds an old travel guide among returned books. There would be nothing strange about this, were it not for the fact that this guide had been borrowed by someone... 113 years earlier. Who returned it today and why?

Glen Berger's play, written with extraordinary virtuosity, was ranked among the ten best plays of 2001 in the USA and is still performed on many stages around the world. It had its Polish premiere at the Ateneum. The play was directed by film director Bartek Konopka. He is the author of, among others, The Art of Disappearance or the award-winning at many festivals Fear of Heights and the Oscar-nominated documentary short Rabbit à la Berlin. The play In the Threshold is his theatrical debut.
