Plac Defilad

Defilad Square is a summer festival held periodically since 2014 under the Palace of Culture and Science. For the summer months, the space of the main plate of the Square turns into a vibrant heart of the city, with a garden and a stage where cultural and entertainment events take place. Over the years it has been inviting Varsovians and tourists to meetings with eminent artists, hundreds of film screenings, open-air performances, concerts and debates. Defilad Square wants to fulfil dreams of a beautiful, happy city, a democratic place for experiencing and participating in culture together. The Square is for everyone, regardless of their views, religion or background.
