Jazz | Pavlik and Jam Factory is a four-member jazz combo, playing a cross-section of styles ranging from swing, funk to modern jazz.
The band started its operation in the fall of 2008, when the big-band trumpeter Paul cunning Ondračka lusting after some similar body style. He addressed his acquaintances and friends (especially the Junior Bigband Václav Holub) and compiled a formation composed of five members: Pavel Ondračka - trumpet, Eva Pjajčíková - saxophone, Andrew Veškrna - bass, Jan Baros - keyboards, Jakub Harnoš - drums. Began regular testing and compilation of the repertoire, which consisted mainly of jazz standards and classic jazz-funk song as an example of Chameleon by Herbie Hancock. After a short deliberation over the name of the band turned into a factory for the jam (jam) and stressed that its founder, gave the first name of his name. The resulting name, then, is Pavlik and jam factory.
