Am Wriezener Bahnhof,
Luke Slaters will bring his newest label discoveries to today’s Klubnacht: the Brighton-based producer and DJ Rene Wise, who shows a surprisingly mature knowledge and feeling for the relentless energy of 90s techno on his current 12" debut Loud Colours, presented pretty confidently – an influence which is also influencing his sets. Patrick Pulsinger again has been one of the key figures of the first techno generation of Vienna. Since then, he has proven his deep understanding of house, Detroit techno, sampling and jazz, which he always combined with a very obstinate humor on various releases and cooperations. His joint project with Sam Irl roots in the idea of combining various kinds of dub-influenced music. They play without computers and with a compact hardware setup consisting of analogue drum computers, MPC samplers, analogue synths and a hand full of effect devices. Like this, they catch the essential vibe of live-played techno and Jamaican dub culture.
