Janus + Asian Dope Boys

The Asian Dope Boys are a Chinese alternative club night and a collective, led by contemporary artist and agitator Tianzhuo Chen, who will present us a performance and an installation at this Janus X Asian Dope Boys party. Tianzhuos shows are a startling spectacle, evocing associations and pictures of buddhist demon queens, absurd operas and horror stories of the Quing dynasty - no wonder, since his videowork (Jerk off in peace) Chen has already established himself a name as the enfant terrible of the Chinese art scene. The three Janus residents KABLAM, M. E. S. H. und Why Be will set the whole thing into an adequate musical frame.
