Parallel Polis Košice is a community based on the principles of freedom, innovation and independence from state structures, inspired by the ideas of cyber technologies and cryptocurrencies. It is dedicated to spreading awareness about cryptocurrencies, blockchain, decentralized technologies and ethical hacking through workshops and lectures. It organizes creative and educational events that combine technology with art and civic engagement, and provides a space for digital skills development. Parallel Polis also includes a crypto café where one can pay exclusively with cryptocurrencies, promoting an alternative approach to economic freedom. Their goal is to create a parallel society where people can operate independently of centralized systems, based on the principles of transparency, freedom and accountability.
