Pałac Mirów

Mirów Palace is a castle located in Książ Wielki, currently housing the Wincenty Witos School Complex and Agricultural Schools Complex. It was designed and built between 1585-1595 by Santi Gucci, commissioned by the bishop of Krakow Piotr Myszkowski. At the beginning of the eighteenth century, the castle passed into the possession of the Wielopolski family and was rebuilt in the Baroque style. The castle is one of the monuments included in the “Renaissance Route in Lesser Poland” program, implemented by the Villa Decius Association.
