Otomo Yoshihide

Otomo Yoshihide is a guitarist, turntablist, composer, sound artist and one of the most versatile musicians of our time, who works in various contexts, from improvisation to noise, jazz, minimal, musique concrete, modern classic. One of the electronic music pioneers and the founder of the Otomo Yoshihide's New Jazz Quintet, now defunct, legendary Ground Zero and still active I.S.O. and Filament, has showcased his unique skills while working with such artists as Jim O'Rourke, Mats Gustafsson, Christian Marclay,Tony Buck, John Zorn, Fred Frith, Yamatsuka Eye and David Moss. One of the key figures of the world and Japanese experimental and avant-garde scene.
