This time, Urban Talks will present the French architectural studio LAN Architecture (Local Architecture Network), founded in 2002 by Umberto Napolitano and Benoito Jallon, whose common aim is to build close links between architecture and other arts and urban development disciplines. They profess moderation, rationality, functionality and flexibility. In addition to many modern dwelling houses, they have also designed a city hall, a court and a prison or Le Maillon Theatre in Strasbourg, and the rebuilding of the famous Grand Palais exhibition pavilion in Paris have also been completed. Typical for them is openness and connection to the exterior. Thanks to their creative activities, they quickly built up a great reputation and won a number of competitions both at home and abroad.
