Tempel der Kunst: Meisterwerke der Antike

With its monumental facade of columns, the Altes Museum already has the look of a temple. This tour will give insights into the architectural history of the museum, which was the first to open on the Museumsinsel, in 1830, as well as introducing visitors to a selection of objects from the Antikensammlung (Collection of Classical Antiquities), whose holdings contain artworks from Ancient Greece to Imperial Rome.
