Many months of expeditions are rich in adventures and interesting experiences. In addition, if they are trips to Indochina - Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and Burma, they must be extraordinary adventures. Piotr Wnuk will tell about them during the meeting from the series World and around. It will be about large silos in the Cambodian Kardamon Mountains, which serve as bird traps and decimate them within many kilometers. Participants will learn the contrast between newly emerging Buddhist temples, full of splendor, and poor villages nearby, where Laotian indigenous people live a simple life. It will also be about how cottage production of bricks, how to get electricity from the river using simple mechanical turbines, and how local moonshine is produced. It will also be about animistic beliefs (why you can't knock on someone's home, how to interpret dreams when making a bull sacrifice, why the perpetrator of the accident must live five years in the jungle). Participants will see how the inhabitants celebrate the wedding, what delicacies they have, e.g. red ants and grasshoppers. What education and basic healthcare look like there. And also about high mortality, poverty and exclusion and many others.
