Opening of Museum On The Vistula

Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw invites everybody for the opening of the new venue - the Museum on the Vistula, located right on the embankment of the river, next to the Copernicus Science Center and the Warsaw University Library. The new, temporary pavilion was designed by the Austrian architect Adolf Krischanitz and was leased free of charge by the Thyssen-Bornemisza Art Contemporary Foundation. The opening will start with exhibition "The Beguiling Siren is Thy Crest", dedicated to the symbol of Warsaw, the meraid (Polish lenguage does not differentiate between mermaid and siren). The opening is a two-day picnic with concerts, performances, food market and more.
