Anneke Lucas has been a victim of organized sexual abuse during her childhood. After thirty years of coping with trauma, it shows a way for others. Six long years as a child sex slave. Can anyone ever deal with it? Anneke Lucas is trying to do it all her life. At the age of six she was sold to powerful pedophiles. In Belgium. There are countless dramas beneath the surface of civilized states. Anneke works with victims of these tragic events. She is the founder of Liberation Prison Yoga, an American nonprofit organization guiding trauma survivors to find their way to themselves and their mental health. Through 30 years of personal healing and 10 years of creating programs for traumatized populations, Anneke developed the Unconditional Model, a healing modality that can be applied to psychotherapy, service programs, mental health/substance use recovery programs, and for personal growth. The Unconditional Model uses awareness of interpersonal power dynamics in a whole new way, serving as a portal into one’s own unresolved trauma. The healing modality addresses all levels of trauma healing, including societal. Anneke has been applying this model in her work in prisons and with survivors of sexual trauma, and has presented at workshops and speaking engagements in the US and Europe. Now, Anneke is coming to Prague and Brno to present the Unconditional Model, and how it relates to her life experiences. While the content of her lecture may be difficult, Anneke is qualified to address this topic because she brings hope for a real solution, which is as important in the Czech Republic as anywhere else.
