Ostrov Cultural and Creative Center
The Ostrov Cultural and Creative Centre (KKC Ostrov) is a place where culture, creativity and community meet. It is a contributory organisation of the City of Ostrov and connects art, experiences and people across the city. It offers concerts, theatre, exhibitions, lectures, workshops and community meetings. It takes care of three unique cultural spaces: the Ostrov House of Culture (concerts, theatre, exhibitions, large events, VR/AR – currently under reconstruction), the Old Town Hall (chamber programmes, discussions, workshops) and the Ostrov Monastery Complex (a baroque monument with exhibitions and an exceptional atmosphere). KKC Ostrov is not just a programme on the calendar. It is an open space for ideas, people and change. It connects, creates and enlivens the city.
