Orville Peck is a masked Canadian country musician who made his professional debut in early 2019. He identifies as a queer artist. "Orville Peck" is a pseudonym and following his debut, Peck's anonymity, mask, and musical style garnered significant media attention. Some sources have postulated that Peck is a persona of Daniel Pitout, drummer of the Canadian punk band Nü Sensae, based on the similarity of Peck's tattoos. His self-produced his debut album, Pony, and released it in 2019 through a collaboration with Sub Pop. Orville Peck’s music has been featured in publications like Nylon, i-D, Vice, The Needle Drop, and Office, as well as numerous Apple Music and Spotify playlists. He’s been also featured in New York’s Hello Mr. as well the UK mag, Notion.
