Ormo
Ormo is somewhat gnomic project of musician and painter Albert Acinase, which most of their recordings issued on the LAPS Records. His work shows the extent to which it may be fairly straightforward eclecticism and the technique of sample b. Abstract hip hop, disco, IDM and other genres of electronic dance music here are layered and distorted into a familiar, but also very amorphous, ambivalent shape and the same applies to the emotions that are usually associated with the default styles. The resulting production entails something from a bad dream: contemporary dance pop-culture is presented here in its inhuman, horror form (like rock music in bringing The Residents). As with time danceparty environmental disaster and at its end on the dance floor remained only mutants.
