Opening Concerts of the Season of The Czech Phiharmonic
The Czech Philharmonic is dedicating the opening concerts to the memory of Václav Neumann.
The 100th anniversary of his birth falls on 29 September. One of his most important artistic achievements at the helm of the Czech Philharmonic was the now legendary recording of all of Mahler’s symphonies between 1976 and 1982.
