On Sundays in May there will be meetings in Polish organized by Zachęta with the curators of the “Live Storages: Didactics” show. Each meeting will be dedicated to one artist.
As a photographer Zbigniew Dłubak was committed to didactics. In the 1940s he was active in the Warsaw Club of Young Artists and Scientists, which popularized photography as a medium combining art and science. He used photography as a medium to help explore the essence of reality. This talk will focus on the series Didactic Panels, in which the artist examined the structures and forms of various objects – from the mechanism of a watch to a cut cabbage.
Host: Zuzanna Zasacka
The stream will take place on Zachęta's Facebook.
