Ondřej Valenta
Ondřej Valenta (born 1990) is the organist of St. Vitus Cathedral in Prague, concert organist, teacher at the Prague Conservatory, titular organist and regenschori at the Royal Collegiate Chapter in Prague's Vyšehrad, where he co-founded and artistically directs the international festival Varhanní Vyšehrad.
He is a sought-after collaborator with singers, instrumentalists, choirs and orchestras. He has already performed with the Czech National Symphony Orchestra, PKF – Prague Philharmonia, North Bohemian Philharmonic Teplice, Karlovy Vary Symphony Orchestra and the orchestra of the F. X. Šalda Orchestra in Liberec. He collaborates more intensively with flutist Eva Prchalová and violinist Šárka Petříková, with whom he founded the NiTrio ensemble. His performances have also been recorded by Czech Television and Czech Radio. In addition to his concert activities in the Czech Republic (MVF at St. James's in Prague, Dvořák's Nelahozeves, Karl Ditters' IMF in Dittersdorf, Jakub Jan Ryba Festival, Tones over Cities, etc.), he has also performed in France, Spain, Germany, Italy, Sweden, Denmark, Austria and Poland.
