About Omri Mor
Omri Mor is a pianist, composer and arranger born in Israel. He is half Iraqi, half Argentinian. Omri Mor has been shaped by three musical influences to which he has remained faithful: classical music, jazz and Arab-Andalusian music. Andalusian music has a great tradition in Israel and Omri Mor wants to cultivate it. He often performs with the trio of bassist Avishai Cohen. On Omri Mor’s debut album It’s about time, released three years ago, his unique musical language is at its peak. His soulful compositions are emblematic of his diverse musical influences and showcase his virtuosic piano skills. The album is symbolic of the young pianist’s fascination with the music of different worlds, which he blends together with masterful artistry and deep respect.
