Nightlark
Nightlark is one of Berlin's folk bands with modern access, combining elements of jazz, strong rhythmic components and traditional Irish, Scottish and American folk music. Jazz guitarist Robert York provides a strong rhythmic and melodic base, Jane South on accordion and flute has her roots in both folk and jazz, and Patrizia Sieweck has violin and vocals at workshops by folk greats like Aly Bain, Paul O'Shaughnessy or Adam Sutherland develops her very own violin style.
