Niakara
Niakara is a Czech-Slovak metal band. The band is headed by bassist Zdeněk Kub, known from his time in Arakain, who brought Niakara to the scene with a purely authorial vision, the new project brings his songs to the concert stages again – from the very well-known ones to previously unplayed songs, including new ones.
From the very beginning Zdeněk Kub has been recruiting distinctive and interesting bandmates. Behind the microphone is one of the biggest Slovak singing stars Mayo Petranin (Symphonity, Castaway), guitar solos and beglays are shared by modern sound enthusiast Petr Voháňka (Dirty Game) and prog-rock Martin Pavlíček (Not Perfect). Pavel Kubát (ex Root) leads the band from behind two "kickers“.
