Neelix (Henrik Twardzik) is a German music producer, live act and DJ. In 1996, Neelix started to record and produced the first tracks in spring 2000. In 2003 he released his first album Resident. Neelix has performed at numerous festivals in Germany, as well as in other European countries as well as in Israel, Brazil, Mexico and Australia.
His style is characterized by a driving bass, spherical surfaces and regular use of visuals and vocals as well as the frequent use of calm, melodic passages. His sets often tend towards progressive house, but are usually clearly recognizable as psytrance. In his live performances, Twardzik works with his notebook, MIDI controller and keyboards with previously mixed samples or his own productions, which he arranges and changes on stage.
