Naked

The confrontational presence of Agnes Gryczkowska moves between extremes, deconstructing the boundaries between the performer and the audience. Her performances are both masochistic and submissive, painful and at the same time pleasant, brutal and emotional. Gryczkowska has now taken over all the activities in the former Naked duo, which combines industrial, experimental and extreme forms of electronic music, creating social-political contexts, confronting it with an oppressive system of control. Their last joint album was Total Power Exchange (Halcyon Veil), and the premiere of two singles and music videos happened through Dazed. NAKED's live performance is an integral part of Gryczkowska's practice – it's raw, vulgar and primal. Agnes' practice extends to research in cognitive neurobiology, exploring the subject of intensity, ritual and consciousness – she studies the potency of live art over other forms of virtual, techno-somatic experience.
