Muzeum Powstania Wielkopolskiego 1918–1919

A branch of the Wielkopolska Museum of Independence, located in the Odwach building at 3 Stary Rynek (Old Market Square), the Museum documents the outbreak and course of the Wielkopolska Uprising of 1918–1919 and presents the history of the independence movement in Wielkopolska from the first half of the 19th century to the end of the inter-war period. The Museum was established in place of the former Museum of the History of the Labour Movement, which had existed since 1961. The holdings include iconographic material (photography, drawing, painting, sculpture), documents, uniforms, militaria, banners and decorations.
