The Neon Muzeum

The goal of the Neon Museum is the documentation and preservation of post-war illuminated advertising - neon signs. Beginning in 2005, the institution has been engaged in the study and restoration of old neon signs, a reminder of the extensive large-scale neonization projects carried out in the Eastern Bloc countries. The museum's permanent collection consists of about a hundred old neon signs and other advertising installations, which were often designed by outstanding artists and graphic designers, who were also the creators of the world-famous Polish School of Posters. Visitors to the museum have a unique opportunity to look at neon signs up close, and to appreciate the artistry of the creators and craftsmen of this often forgotten art form.
