Museum of Unheard (of) Things

The Museum of Unheard (of) Things (German: Museum der Unerhörten Dinge) at Berlin-Schöneberg is a collection of artistic, scientific and technical objects from the past and today and a public exhibition space for them.

At the Museum of Unheard (of) Things, stories are assigned to objects and other way round. Simple things that have a story to tell and are often overseen in daily life are presented at the museum. It is a material-literary Wunderkammer from all fields of life.

Natural-historical studies are shown besides a letter written by Siegmund Freud or the fur of a Japanese Bonsai deer. The objects, that become relics through their legends, give the visitor an opportunity to briefly pause and think the possibility that everything could be different than it seems.
