The Nutcracker, called dazzling and breathtaking by The New York Times, is a journey into dreamland. A little girl is given the titular Nutcracker as a gift, who in her dream becomes Prince Charming and she becomes a princess. In individual scenes, the ballet performs characteristic dances: Dance of the Sugar Land Fairy, Spanish Dance, Arabic Dance, Chinese Dance, Trepak, Shepherd Dance, and the final Flower Dance. In addition to the choreography, worked to perfection, the undoubted value of the music is in the wonderfully danced symphonic poem. From the first to the last bar it binds the theme into a unified content. The dazzling costumes add magic and a truly fairy tale-like expression. The performance is a real treat for connoisseurs of ballet art who appreciate a high level of performance.
