Money For Rope

Melbourne's psych rock band # 1: Money For Rope released their new album Picture Us on March 8, 2019. Now they are on tour and will also be playing in Berlin. Born into the same prolific Melbourne music scene that has helped not only Barnett, but other band friends like King Gizzard And The Wizard Wizard, The Goon Sax, and Rolling Coastal Blackouts Fever, Money For Rope present on their new work 10 auspicious rock songs. Self-produced, mixed, and mastered by the five-member band, Picture Us was shot over the course of a single summer in Victoria, Australia on the shores of the Southern Ocean. The easy surf rock of the lead single Actually was created during their last European tour in Berlin. Frontman Jules describes the sound of the album as follows: "We wanted guitars to be keyboards, keyboards to be saturation, and drums to be folded over into like like tape worn, like rocks eroded by the relentless southerlies blowing the ocean onto the land."
