Molly Nilsson

Pop, Dance | Molly Nilsson is a kind of orchestra girl. Not only does she write music and lyrics herself, she also edits music videos and creates hand-painted and dyed T-shirts. She easily, but not hastily, draws lines of embarrassingly personal lyrics and dresses them up tenderly in a synthpop mesh of sounds. She also runs an independent label, Dark Skies Association. She spent her childhood in Stockholm before moving to Germany after finishing school. For the past few years she has been living in Berlin's Neukölln district, where she divides her time between working at an art gallery and making music.
