The dance performance Mirrordrom thematizes a phenomenon that is very important in today's art scene: Innovation. In the same course it deals with representations of man. The dance performance deals with the idea that innovation is a kind of obsession with variations and transformations of the external form. This desire for the new is perhaps due to the fact that the creators of art want to find a completely new form for the human being. The innovation consists in the rearrangement of information that already exists in our mind, body and consciousness. The form of movement works like a platonic idea. It is an action that has no completion, a kind of idea that has not (yet) found its final form. The performers embody possible ways of being that can not only take place on stage, but are in principle open to all people.
