Mike Greene Band

Mike Greene is an author, composer, vocalist and plays guitar, mandolin, banjo and accordion. Born in Brooklyn, New York, he grew up listening to blues, gospel and R&B on Harlem radio station WWRL. He learned to play guitar in several bands until the early 1970s, when he left the US to avoid military service. He emigrated to Europe, where he formed the group Bulldog Gravy, with which he played from 2004 to 2007. In 2005 Bulldog Gravy toured Poland, including festivals such as Toruń Blues Meeting and Autumn with Blues. In this country he also collaborated with Leszek Cichoński and Łukasz Wiśniewski. Now he shares the stage with another Pole living in France, Tomek Dziano (ex-Street Blues), who he met while accompanying Robert Johnson's grandson on the occasion of his 100th birthday.
