Michaela Zajmi
Michaela Zajmi is a soloist at the National Theatre in Prague.
She performs in mezzo-soprano roles. In addition to her home stage, she performs as a soloist with a number of Czech and foreign orchestras and opera companies (England, Italy, Germany, Japan). During her studies she participated in the Master Classes with Peter Dvorský in Jaroměřice nad Rokytnou. In 2010 Michaela Zajmi was nominated for the Thalia Award for outstanding stage performance as Angelina in the opera La Cenerentolla at the Brno Theatre and for 2023 she was nominated for a double role in Viktor Ullmann's operas. In 2016, she successfully participated in courses with the well-known German mezzo-soprano Brigitte Fassbaendar. She is widely involved in the song repertoire and has already made several recordings. She has been invited again to play major roles as a guest at the Nationaltheater Mannheim in Germany.
