Mich Gerber

Mich Gerber is a Swiss bassist whose unclassifiable genre compositions have geographic point of contact or prescribed mood, because most often occur in real time using the Loop Station and delay effects. Excellent acoustic bass combines the game with a sampling of his instrument at times recalls the sprawling abstract orchestra. Gerber draws the dreamlike ambient, trip-hop, jazz and avant-garde classics, and he admits that most inspires him an environment in which the concert takes place. He is also the creator of film and theater music, and comes from a musical family. But first studied theater art design, only then, overwhelmed by the possibilities of the double bass, joined the conservatory. Later, the player in Bern Symphony Orchestra and collaborated with rock, jazz and punk bands, with whom he traveled the world to eventually figured out that the music on what he thinks he wants to play only himself.
