Municipal Theatre of Žilina
The first non-state repertoire theatre in Slovakia, financed from the budget of the city of Žilina. In the years 1999–2003, its building, which is stylistically based on the Italian Renaissance and Italian modernism of the 1930s, underwent a complete reconstruction. Gradually, the Municipal Theatre of Žilina has undergone an internal transformation of dramaturgy and is currently experiencing significant artistic success. His repertoire focuses on contemporary texts.
