Mesajah
Reggae | Mesajah is a singer, songwriter, producer and composer. A member of the band Natural Dread Killaz, with whom he released two studio albums: Naturalnie in 2005 and How many years in 2010. In 2008 he decided to start his solo career by releasing his first album Ludzie Prości. The album surprised with his own interpretations of reggae, dancehall, dub and hip-hop. The album was a success, it was a big event on the Polish reggae scene and enjoyed great interest of the media. It was promoted by the song Every Day, which to this day remains a great hit known not only to reggae fans. In February 2012, Mesajah released his second solo album entitled Jestem stąd. Both the title of the album and its whole subject matter refer to the problem of discrimination against people of color. The author calls for tolerance and equality, regardless of origin, religion or opinion. A year later, the third album titled Brudna prawda was released. In 2016, the time came for another, fourth album * Powrót do korzeni* came. The promotion of the album was initiated by the single Wolne, with which Mesajah won the Premier competition at the 53rd Polish Song Festival in Opole – winning, with the votes of the audience, the Opole "Karolinka". Powrót do korzeni was also appreciated by the music industry – the album received a nomination to Fryderyk 2017 in the category “Roots Music Album of the Year".
