Maya Isacowitz
Maya Isacowitz (also known as Maya Isac) was born in 1987 in Israel. Her family came to Israel from South Africa. She writes in English. She has been creating music since the age of 14, and at 21, she released her debut album entitled. At the age of 21, she released her debut album entitled Safe & Sound, which received the status of a Gold Record. In 2012, she won an award from ACUM, the Israeli association of artists. In 2015, she traveled to the United States, released a new album, and performed at several American festivals, including South by Southwest, Mountain Jam, and as an opening artist for Suzanne Vega. In February 2019, she released the single Sparkle, produced by Tomer Yosef.
