Maxwell, whose real name is Maxwell Kwabena Schaden, is a German rapper from Hamburg. He belongs to the rap crew 187 Strassenbande. He made his breakthrough with the collaboration album Obststand, which he recorded together with LX, who belongs to the same crew. Like the rest of 187 Strassenbande, Maxwell uses his lyrics to process his experiences as a youngster on the streets of Hamburg. For Maxwell his authenticity is much more important than the technique of his rap style.
