Massimiliano Pagliara

Massimiliano Pagliara was born in Tricase (Lecce) in the deepest south of Italy. As a child he listened to a wide variety of music: rap, classical music, reggae, dub and sixties rock'n'roll. Moving to Milan in 1997, Massimiliano began an academic career, eventually graduating in 2001 with a degree in theater, dance and choreography from the Civica Scuola di Teatro Paolo Grassi. While discovering the city's modern and alternative club scene, his taste was influenced by experimental electronic music and artists such as Aphex Twin, Boards Of Canada, Autechre and Mira Calix.

Massimiliano's interest in electronic music peaked in 2003, when he finally began to pursue DJing with passion. Since then, he has made his way to the best clubs in the world and the country - including Tape Club, SchwuZ, Tresor, ://about blank, Robert Johnson and of course Berghain / Panorama Bar, where he DJs as a resident. Describing his style as an eclectic mix of house, disco, electro and techno, the DJ could be described as contemporary yet classic.
