Martin Kasík
Martin Kasík, the winner of one of the world's most prestigious Young Concert Artists Competitions, has been playing piano since the age of 4. He studied at the Janáček Conservatory in Ostrava under the guidance of Mgr. Monika Tugedliebová and the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague under Prof. Ivan Klánský. He has given concerts in many prestigious concert halls in Europe (Berlin Philharmonic Hall, Wigmore Hall in London, Gewandhaus Leipzig, Tonhalle Zürich, Concertgebouw Amsterdam, De Doelen Rotterdam, Finlandia Hall Helsinki, Auditorio di Barcelona, etc. ), United States of America (Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, Alice Tully Hall and Avery Fisher Hall in New York, Kennedy Center Washington, etc.), Japan (Tokyo Suntory Hall), Taiwan (Philharmonic Hall), Singapore (Singapore Victoria Concert Hall). As a soloist he has performed with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Minneapolis Symphony Orchestra, DSO Berlin, Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich, Stuttgarter Philharmoniker, Rotterdams Philharmonisch, Helsingin kaupunginorkesteri. He regularly collaborates with the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra and the Prague Symphony Orchestra FOK, with whom he has toured the USA and Japan.
