The new exhibition of Marcin Mierzicki, an artist whose works most often provoke interactivity in their structure and are based on activities in process. The starting point and common denominator are subjective observations and destructive energy, the constant inspiration – everyday life and its challenges. The exhibition Coś od zera is a visual message, several remarks suspended in the atmosphere of anticipation and absurdity, a collection of “neuroses” and related dissonance, as well as a “carefree form” in the post-accident atmosphere of a waiting room. The open structure suggests further developments. The starting point and common denominator of the exhibition are subjective observations and destructive energy. The artist is constantly inspired by everyday life and its challenges, the works are often objects borrowed from reality, which carry the content and bane of contexts, the changes and distortions they undergo I treat as a ricochet that hits unexpected targets.
