The Chronicles of Narnia tells the story of siblings Lucy, Edmund, Susan, and Peter, who, while playing hide-and-seek in the country estate of an eccentric professor, manage to enter another world through a magical wardrobe. Narnia, where they find themselves, turns out to be an enchanting and peaceful land inhabited by talking animals, gnomes, fauns, centaurs, and giants, but it is doomed to eternal winter due to the curse of the evil White Witch Jadis. Under the guidance of the noble and mysterious ruler, the lion Aslan, the children decide to stand up to the powerful witch. They must break her icy spell and thus free the kingdom forever.
