McBriare Samuel Lanyon aka "Mac" DeMarco is a Canadian singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer. DeMarco has released five full-length studio albums, 2, Salad Days, This Old Dog, Here Comes the Cowboy and Five Easy Hot Dogs as well as two mini-LPs: his debut Rock and Roll Night Club and Another One. His style of music has been described as "blue wave" and "slacker rock", or by DeMarco himself "jizz jazz".

In 2023, DeMarco released his first compilation album titled One Wayne G, online only, without any prior announcement. The compilation has been noted for being unusually long, with 199 tracks and a runtime of 8:43:20.
