Łysa Góra + Żmij

Łysa Góra is a folk soul firmly rooted in Slavic soil, growing among energetic arrangements. They move between folk, rock and heavy, deep metal sound. Most of the lyrics draw on both the tradition of the Polish countryside and the culture of our eastern neighbours.

Żmij is a Krakow band referring to folk music – mainly Slavic and Middle Eastern – as well as alternative rock and dark poetic song from Nick Cave or Tom Waits. In the lyrical layer, the music of Żmijet is saturated with mystical and folk themes, although there are also very personal lyrics and classical poems. The band also uses dance or visualizations for live performances – all to create the atmosphere of a primordial ritual.
