Lupe Fiasco

Lupe Fiasco is an American rapper. In 2000, the then 18-year-old received a record deal with his 4-man crew Da Park from Epic. Since the success of the first single with Da Park failed to materialize, the group broke up again. Thereafter, LA Reid signed Arias Records Fiasco as a solo artist. At that time, Lupe had several guest appearances. Among others on the singles Kiss Me (2002) and Didn't You Know (2003) by Tha' Rayne and later K Fox_This Life_ (2004). In October 2003 he released the song Coulda Been, followed by several mixtapes. He also achieved a lot of popularity on the Internet. However, he did not break through. Together with Kanye West, he wrote the song Touch the Sky. The second album Lupe Fiasco's the Cool was released in 2007. With the song Superstar he achieved an international hit together with Matthew Santos.
