Lukáš Klánský
Lukáš Klánský is a Czech pianist.
His father is Ivan Klánský – a prominent pianist and head of the Department of Keyboard Instruments at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. Since 1997 he has been successfully participating in various domestic and international piano competitions and has given hundreds of concert performances.
Together with violinist Jan Mráček and cellist Ondřej Valenta, he is a member of the Helios Praga Trio, as well as a member of the successful Lobkowicz Trio (Jan Mráček - violin, Ivan Vokáč - cello). He performs with leading Czech orchestras (Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra Pardubice, Hradec Králové Philharmonic, Bohuslav Martinů Philharmonic Zlín, Czech National Symphony Orchestra, Barocco sempre giovanne) and with conductors such as Libor Pešek, Andreas Sebastian Weiser, Jan Kučera, Gundi A. Emilsson and Istvan Denes.
He has performed in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany, Switzerland, France, Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands, Croatia, Slovenia, Poland, Turkey and South Africa. He has performed for audiences in the Czech Republic at festivals such as Prague Spring, Dvořák's Prague, World Piano Works, Václav Hudeček's Festival of Music, Talich's Beroun, and the Czech Chamber Music Society.
