Lucia Tallová’s solo exhibition will guide the visitors through Lucia’s newest works and a broad, site-specific installation that was created especially for the Entry exhibition space. The project responds to an industrial nature and architecture of the gallery.
Lucia Tallová (*1985) is a well-established author of the young generation. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava, Ivan Csudaia atelier. Lucia has won several prestigious awards. Lucia has worked with archive and collection motives for many years now. Her aim is the memory, keeping and loosing memories and their transformation or manipulation over time. She combines classic painting medium with spatial installations, object creation and photography. Lucia aspires to link the work in progress with the material. She perceives an archive as something like keeping old photos, albums, letters, books, porcelain, stones, various bizarre objects and furniture. Those become the working material from which she creates new stories, combining reality and fiction. While creating, a very important content for Lucia is working with space and architecture.
