A mime loses his invisible props, prompting him to journey through a world of light and shadows on a quest to discover his family’s past.

Lost & Found in the Dark of Light is a 45-minute experiment in design-driven theater where the visual lingua franca of physical comedy collides with a re-examination of familial inheritance.

Jacques learned everything he knew from his father: how to gather a crowd, how to hold their attention, and how to keep ‘em coming back for more. He does this all with the help of his family heirlooms: an invisible cane, hat, and balloon. But soon after his father’s mysterious disappearance, he opens his trunk to discover the props are missing! The world shifts on its axis as sunlight casts Jacques in a pool of darkness. Fireflies shepherd his journey across fields of sky, under canopies of glass, and into caves of hidden monsters. Asking the question: How do you search for something you can’t see?
