Lenka Nová
Lenka Nová (born 19 September 1974 in Brno) is a Czech singer, actress and author.
She comes from Brno, where she started singing in local rock bands. She then spent 12 years in the band Laura and Her Tigers, with whom she played hundreds of concerts and released several albums. Since 2008 she has been working closely with the lyricist Michal Horáček. She recorded with him the albums Ohrožený druh, Český kalendář and in 2016 the album Čtyřicítka, where she is not only a performer but also a composer. Since 2012 she has been on a solo career. She has released three solo albums Nová deska (2003), Psí hodina (2012) and the aforementioned Čtyřicítka (2016). In spring 2020, she released her fourth solo album Dopisy. Since 2012, she has been performing regularly throughout the Czech Republic, alongside Michal Horáček, Petr Malásek and Ondřej Ruml.
In June 2024, he embarks on the Villa Tour – a series of chamber concerts in architecturally interesting places that are interesting not only structurally, but also humanly. Places that have powerful human stories, just as in the songs of Lenka Nová.
