Kwintet Śląskich Kameralistów

The Silesian Chamber Players Quintet was founded by the leaders of the Silesian Chamber Orchestra in July 1993. Initially a quartet, the ensemble was expanded to include a double bass. The ensemble has performed at many festivals in Poland and abroad, including the International Music Festival in Rialp in Spanish Catalonia. Many years ago it was the members of the Silesian Chamber Players Quintet who initiated a cycle of summer promenade concerts "From Bach to the Beatles" taking place every year in Kościuszko Park in Katowice with great interest of the audience. Thanks to its high artistic level and mobility, the Quintet has for many years served as an elite chamber ensemble in our region.
